First Transitional Veteran Home Opens in Denver
Funded directly by the Spring 2026 drop, the first six-bed veteran transitional home opened on March 1st. Three residents moved in the first week.
Every drop becomes a doorway. Strain channels membership dollars into supportive housing for veterans and seniors — real keys, real units, real dignity.
Each $100 quarterly membership is split: roughly 50% covers materials, printing, and shipping a piece you'll actually wear. The remaining ~50% funds rent, utilities, and welcome kits for SMILE House residents.
Annual members add a deeper bridge — and members who opt-in for the $50 add-on at renewal directly sponsor a piece of furniture, a welcome mat, or a winter coat for a resident.
Every box ships with a printed letter from a SMILE House resident. Every quarter.

We funded 280 weekly companion visits for seniors aging in place in the Phoenix area. 12 trained companions are now active.
Thanks to a year of quarterly drops, the Strain community has now funded over $250,000 of programming for the S.M.I.L.E. House network.
